Sizing (Important!) Our shoes fit true to size with a slightly wider instep fit. If you have narrow feet or are between sizes, we recommend sizing down by half a size. Not sure? Exchanges are always free — so don't hesitate to try a size.
Update (Effective April 2026): We made a small adjustment to our shoe lasts, resulting in a slightly wider fit through the instep. If you're reading reviews from before this date, sizing advice may no longer apply — simply order your usual size, or size down if you have narrow feet.

100% Vegetable tanned Leather uppers and polished leather soles.
The Huarache sandal is pre-Hispanic in origin and has since become a popular shoe in many countries. Each pair is equipped with a padded leather insole to cushion your feet for comfort on even the longest days. The natural tanned leather is breathable and keeps your feet cool on those sweltering days and form to your feet over time.

FIT:
As any long-lasting relationship, you and your huaraches will need some time to get to know each other. These shoes will get more comfortable with time and create a custom mold around your feet!
CARE:
As with any pair of leather shoes, in order to make sure your sandals last, we recommend using a leather protector.
We know you won't want to part with your Huarache sandals, but if you are going to get wet, keep them on dry land.

These shoes fit perfectly! It’s the first pair of shoes I wear without socks that didn’t hurt my feet one bit the first time wearing them. Extremely soft and so comfortable. And they smell so wonderful, like leather should.

The only thing that i didnt like was the other color dold out that i wanted. These shoes are everything. Dress it up, dress it casual, wear them to the mailbox, EVERYTHING AND EVERYWHERE.

These are beautifully made, and I can tell they are going to be one of my favorite pairs of shoes for a very long time.
I adore these little darlings, hand made by Guadalupe, the loveliest tejadoras (I learned on their website that this is what the women are called who craft these sandals, a trade passed down over generations of Artisans). Guadalupe's portrait was on the little tag, with a QR code where we could go and thank her. My heart overflowed with warmth and fondness for this woman I'd never met. All this before even slipping it on, I was in heaven. Then I put them on... they felt like butter...but structured haha. So supportive, I wore them immediately and all day, didn't get any blister. they just cocooned around my foot. I'm so sad that it's September and I don't have long to wear them this season. The fact that this gorgeous sandal also comes from a company who not only pay their employees fair wage but revere and respect them in this way is everything to me. I will recommend Stori Footwear to anyone, the only thing better than their footwear is their Customer Care. Kevin and the team are so warm and kind. I will be a customer for life, hands down. Absolutely lovely shoes! They fit perfectly and feel so comfortable. I wore these for an entire day of teaching, while on my feet constantly, and felt great by the end of the day! Cannot recommend these enough.

The huaraches are excellent quality and I appreciate the soft footbed. They are reasonably comfortable. I usually wear a 8.5 and ordered an 8; the length is good, but they are a bit narrow for my slightly-wide feet with a high arch. I have been wearing them to break them in and it seems to be ok, but I still need them to give a bit more. I was hoping to take them on my upcoming travels but will not be doing that and will leave them for another time. They definitely have potential for the future and seem like they will last some time. Thank you.

The shoes are great but I don’t agree with the sizing recommendations. I ordered a half size down and I wish I hadn’t.

Love them, only wish the grey was a little bit “whiter grey”….did not order half size smaller but one of my feet is a half inch larger than the other so I think it will be fine… the smaller foot will be good with an insert, which is what I do for most of my shoes. I now have huaraches in blue, black, pink and the grey ! I always pay attention for more colors !They are my favorite shoe !
Well made, love the stone grey, fit is awesome, half size smaller as recommended. Very comfortable and will eventually be molded to my foot shape. The smell of leather is nice being new. Highly recommend. Thank you Stori!!
