100% Vegetable tanned Leather uppers and polished leather soles.
The Huarache sandal is pre-Hispanic in origin and has since become a popular shoe in many countries. Each pair is equipped with a padded leather insole to cushion your feet for comfort on even the longest days. The natural tanned leather is breathable and keeps your feet cool on those sweltering days and form to your feet over time.

FIT:
As any long-lasting relationship, you and your huaraches will need some time to get to know each other. These shoes will get more comfortable with time and create a custom mold around your feet!
CARE:
As with any pair of leather shoes, in order to make sure your sandals last, we recommend using a leather protector.
We know you won't want to part with your Huarache sandals, but if you are going to get wet, keep them on dry land.

These are beautifully made, and I can tell they are going to be one of my favorite pairs of shoes for a very long time.
I adore these little darlings, hand made by Guadalupe, the loveliest tejadoras (I learned on their website that this is what the women are called who craft these sandals, a trade passed down over generations of Artisans). Guadalupe's portrait was on the little tag, with a QR code where we could go and thank her. My heart overflowed with warmth and fondness for this woman I'd never met. All this before even slipping it on, I was in heaven. Then I put them on... they felt like butter...but structured haha. So supportive, I wore them immediately and all day, didn't get any blister. they just cocooned around my foot. I'm so sad that it's September and I don't have long to wear them this season. The fact that this gorgeous sandal also comes from a company who not only pay their employees fair wage but revere and respect them in this way is everything to me. I will recommend Stori Footwear to anyone, the only thing better than their footwear is their Customer Care. Kevin and the team are so warm and kind. I will be a customer for life, hands down. Absolutely lovely shoes! They fit perfectly and feel so comfortable. I wore these for an entire day of teaching, while on my feet constantly, and felt great by the end of the day! Cannot recommend these enough.
